Veolia Transport Agglobus – Saumur

Veolia Transport Networks (www.veolia-transport.fr), decided to use its urban fleet of Agglobus in Saumur to carry out three emissions measurement campaigns; with a view to demonstrating XBEE’s capacity to reduce CO2 emissions.

Ascal, a subsidiary of Air Liquide, stepped in to help with a first series of measurements and analysis on 100 urban vehicles on April 27 and 28, 2005. The second series of tests took place on July 5 and 6.

Certified reductions of gas emissions

Ascal is accredited by the Cofrac for “measuring and analyzing the atmo- sphere pollutants in emissions” under the number 1-1594 (97 program) and agreed by the French Ministery of Ecology and Sustainable Development for “measuring and analyzing particles” (E1).

In just two months, CO2, CO, NO, NOx and VOC emissions fell by 12.27% per cubic meter of exhaust gas.

Agglobus – CTS was able to reduce CO2 emissions with XBEE Technology

In 2005, when the XBEE Enzyme Fuel Technology was tested by Agglobus-CTS, the fleet was a part of the worldwide group Veolia Transport. As for the above data, they have been measured on five different buses: two Renault PR (1985 and 1990), a Renault S 53 RX (1988) and two Heuliez GX 317 Euro 2 (2001).

By choosing XBEE, Agglobus – CTS was able to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 tons per year, thus contributing to preserving the environment and protecting everyone’s health.
